Class will be 5 weeks, approximately 90-120 minutes per class. Max is 8 attendees. The dates are January 20, 27, February 3, 10, and 17th. This will be at 8pm EST/7pm CST. The classes will be on zoom and will be recorded for you. If you are unable to make at least 3 of the classes at class time, I suggest waiting for another class opportunity. 

 

We will talk about lighting patterns, what determines proper exposure, how to decide your light settings, and I'll be giving feedback on your images. This class will be a safe space, no judgment zone for learning. You must be willing to participate by creating images as I give you assignments and submitting them for review during class. Disclaimer: I do not think or teach the technical side of lighting... I do have my CPP, so I passed the test. :) But I will be teaching you how I light, which does not involve math or meters. If you'd like to learn the technical end of lighting, I'd suggest another instructor. 

 

Because it’s online, you’ll need at least a flash and trigger and a modifier for your light. Please make sure you have the manual too so you can look up functions on your gear. This class will be $249. This will be a beginner class, so if you’re fairly well-versed in OCF, this class is not for you. We may develop that later, but I feel it’s important for attendees to all be at similar levels for this one.
